About Voucha

Voucha is a community-driven platform that helps people exchange unused retail vouchers instead of letting them expire. Founded in Ireland and based in Dublin, built with transparency and trust at its core.

The Founder's Story

Hi, I'm Daniele, the founder of Voucha.

The idea came from something simple: my neighbourhood WhatsApp group. Every week, someone would post asking if anyone had a spare Dunnes Stores voucher, while someone else would offer theirs for free because they couldn't use it in time. It happened constantly—valid vouchers going to waste while neighbours just a few doors down actually needed them.

I thought: why not build something that makes this easier for everyone? A place where people can deposit vouchers they won't use and pick up ones they actually need—no money changing hands, no complicated swaps, just a fair and simple exchange.

That neighbourhood chat inspired Voucha. What started as a way to help a few neighbours save money has grown into a platform designed to reduce voucher waste across Ireland and beyond. Every feature—duplicate detection, feedback reporting, trust scoring—exists because I wanted to build something people could genuinely rely on.

Why Trust Voucha?

In an era of generic AI-generated deal sites, Voucha stands out through experience and transparency. Being based in Dublin also keeps the platform close to the realities of Irish shoppers:

  • Verified Exchange Model: Our Deposit-to-Withdraw system discourages bots and helps ensure inventory comes from real people with real vouchers.
  • Anti-Abuse Controls: We implement strict duplicate detection and account strikes for users who attempt to share invalid or fraudulent codes.
  • Community Accountability: Every exchange is backed by a feedback loop. Users report redemption success so the system can prioritize the most reliable codes and retailers, while our blog publishes verified savings strategies.
  • Irish Focus: While digital platforms are global, our roots are local. We focus on the Irish retail landscape—from Dunnes Stores and Tesco Ireland to local boutiques— so the community gets relevant, usable value.

Our Mission

Millions of retail vouchers expire unused every year. That's real money—money that could help families stretch their weekly shop, cover essentials, or simply waste less. Voucha exists to redirect that value to the people who need it most.

We believe voucher exchange should be free, fair, and transparent. No hidden fees, no speculative trading—just a practical tool for everyday people making smarter choices with what they already have.

Our Values

🛡️ Trust & Safety

Every voucher goes through verification checks. Duplicate detection, status tracking, and community feedback keep the exchange honest and accountable.

♻️ Zero-Waste Philosophy

We redirect vouchers that would otherwise expire unused. Less waste means more value for families and communities.

🔒 Privacy First

We collect only what's necessary to run the service. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly how data is handled—no surprises.

📖 Transparency

Clear platform rules, published terms, and open communication. If something isn't working, we want to hear about it.
